Based on the White Ring, which takes winter sports enthusiasts through the mountains, you can explore the Green Ring on foot in the summer. The circular hiking trail through the mountains around Lech and Zürs has quite a bit to offer on three one-day stages.

Mystical legends and magically beautiful scenery

Starting from Lech, the Green Ring leads you along 35 stations over mountain ridges, through valleys, past waterfalls, rivers and mountain lakes. Immerse yourself in a world of legends presented with charm and humour and enjoy stories, nature and extraordinary installations. The three stages of the tour differ in length and level of difficulty and can also be tackled individually. Besides the Green Ring's three long stages you can also explore the mountains around Lech on two shorter circular routes.

The Green Puzzle Ring

Families, children and puzzle fans in particular will love the Green Puzzle Ring. Armed with a workbook, detectives of all ages are drawn from Lech am Arlberg up to the Rud-Alpe. Puzzles have to be solved at numerous stations to find the magic word at the end and solve the puzzle. This involves, climbing, fishing, pedalling, spinning and pumping. Mythical creatures and other strange figures help and assist puzzlers. At the end, adults enjoy the wonderful Rud-Alpe terrace while the children let off steam on the water playground.

Geological circular trail

The geological circular trail on the Rüfikopf leads past numerous geological features along 3.4 kilometres. You can get to the circular trail's starting point by the Rüfikopf cable car. Discover shells, snails, fish and other deposits from the primordial oceans in the rocks up the mountain. Or do you believe in the legend of the kind giant Taurin and his sister who once laid a beautiful mosaic out of pretty little creatures?
